Qualifications: B.SC Engineering (University of Toronto)

 

Raj Wanniappa was appointed Executive: Carrier Services in January 2011.  He is  responsible for the Carrier Services business which is charged with the provision of alternative last mile connectivity to clients in chosen African countries.It does this through a combination of self- provision and managing agency relationships with incumbents.

Raj has a formal background in engineering, and holds a B.SC Engineering from the University of Toronto. He has worked at Dimension Data since 2003. During this time he has been General Manager of strategy and technology for Customer Interactive Solutions (CIS) and General Manager: Public Sector, with responsibility for leading services, marketing, sales and pre-sales into the public sector.

 

In this role, Raj has accomplished a number of key strategic objectives, and today Dimension Data MEA is recognised as one of the top three ICT businesses in this sector.

 

Prior to joining Dimension Data, Raj was a management consultant with Accenture, and an engineer at IBM, based out of Toronto Canada.
