Internetix 2011: Thank You
Article Content
With the 12th annual Internetix conference now behind us, I would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who came through for both the Cape Town and Johannesburg events. We have received positive feedback and it was great to be able to spend a very valuable day hosting our clients and partners.
It is often a challenge to continuously improve on what has become a flagship event for Internet Solutions, but with the calibre of speakers and the interaction we had on the day, I think we managed to do that.
We were energised and motivated by Miles Hilton-Barber and Herman Mashaba, amazed with the inventions of Pranav Mistry, fascinated by the look into the future of a mobile enabled world through the eyes of Nick Orton, informed by the level of service possible on an Internet platform by Peresys' David Harty and educated in the possibilities from the perspective of Carrier, Cloud, Communications and Connectivity.
This year we looked at the world of Commerce and how, in an increasingly connected world, it will affect both our personal and business lives over the next few years. I think after all the sessions it became clear to us all that the Internet is changing the game just as it did in the early 90’s. We are glad you were able to explore the future of Commerce with us at Internetix and I trust you will join us again next year where we will further explore trends in the industry.
Thank you once again for spending the time with us, I hope you found it a valuable day out of the office and went back energised and informed.
Videos of the sessions are now online so take a look at them
here.
I look forward to hosting you next year for Internetix 2012.
Thanks
Derek Wilcocks, MD of Internet Solutions
