Internet Solutions (IS) has become the first service provider globally to offer Cisco WebEx Business Suite 27 (WBS27). The latest version of the WebEx application suite offers improved features and functionality, as well as enhanced cross platform capabilities and support.
WBS27 offers improved support for Mac OS, Chrome and various flavours of Linux, including Ubuntu 8.04, Red Hat 5.0 Desktop, OpenSUSE 10.3 and Fedora 8, bringing functionality on these platforms in line with the application suite’s Windows compatibility.
The enhanced features and functionality of this latest version also means that the online collaboration application suite is better ergonomically designed to meet client requirements, while Improvements on an infrastructure level ensure WBS27 is quicker and has a lower footprint to optimise bandwidth utilisation.
According to Hayden Lamberti, Application Solutions Business Unit Manager at IS, WBS27 has already been deployed to all existing IS Cisco WebEx customers. “Any prospective clients who deploy a Cisco WebEx solution through IS will also have access to WBS27, which includes WebEx Meeting Centre, Training Centre, Support Centre and Event Centre,” he concludes.
