Growth Partner and Regional Partner nods for outstanding sales performance
JOHANNESBURG, 31 July 2017 – Internet Solutions, the leading pan-African telecommunications service provider, won two accolades at the 2017 Mimecast Partner Awards.
For the second year, Internet Solutions received the prestigious Growth Partner Award, which recognises the partner recording the highest increase in sales. It was also the Regional Partner Award winner for outstanding sales performance in the regions outside Gauteng.
Since commencing its affiliation with Mimecast two years ago, Internet Solutions has seen a sharp increase in demand for Mimecast’s suite of specialised cloud-based security management tools particularly since global malware events such as the recent WannaCry and Petya ransomware attacks.
“This is a wonderful acknowledgement of our relentless drive to educate our clients on the importance of implementing security measures to protect themselves from cyber-attacks,” says Greg Whitaker, Executive Head: Partners at Internet Solutions.
“We believe that Mimecast is a market leader in email security and archiving, which is why we’re confident recommending their products to enterprise clients that face business-critical risk in the event of a security breach.”
Mimecast South Africa’s 4th annual partner awards event was held at the Four Season Westcliff Hotel in Johannesburg.
Jason Roos, director of channel and alliance at Mimecast, commented: “Internet Solutions has once again excelled at helping its customers tackle evolving email threats like ransomware and impersonation fraud in email. Our partnership of services, support and education is helping boost the cyber resilience of many critical business services.“
Whitaker explains that Mimecast and Internet Solutions have a mutually-beneficial partnership where the success of each company contributes to the growth of the other.
“This is an ideal business relationship based on shared interest, emphasis on service and vision for the ICT services required by enterprises now, and in the future,” he says.
