This cloud-based subscription service allows people to work from anywhere, using any device. Whether you’re at the office or on the go, you can create, edit and share content from your PC, Mac, or iOS, Android or Windows device.

Microsoft Teams supports flexible work styles and enables a collaborative team dynamic. Set up a virtual workspace on Teams for a group or project, and customise with the capabilities you need. Everything is right there, and always up to date, so everyone in the group can:

  • View past discussions and decisions
  • Track progress on work items
  • Get the latest version of any file
  • Work with Office and other documents within the application (Teams can link to applications and services from other 3rd party providers)

Go from chats to calls with IS Voice

The Teams messaging feature keeps all your project-related conversations in one place. A history of Team chats and activities is always available, so you can catch up on developments without having to search through emails or files.

You can create private chats when a conversation needs to be taken offline, and stay on top of all of the activity with notifications which tell when you’ve been mentioned or when someone’s replied to a conversation you’re a part of.

Add voice services

Choose to add IS Voice to your subscription and enjoy the benefits of having a fully integrated, managed service that allows people to make voice calls directly from Teams. All calls to users in the IS Voice community (all Voice clients on the IS network) are toll-free. This option provides Private Branch Exchange (PBX) capabilities and public switched telephone network (PSTN) calling. You will need a Microsoft Phone System licence to activate these services.

There are two packages to choose from:

IS Direct Routing

  • Make and receive PSTN calls, specify dial permissions for local, mobile and international numbers
  • This fully managed SIP Trunking service uses either on-premise or carrier-hosted Session Border Controllers (SBCs) to connect to Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Phone System in Office 365.
  • It can work with Skype for Business and integrate with any other third-party PBX solution in your environment.

IS Calling Plans

  • Set up customised calling plans for Microsoft Phone System users based on their personas and usage requirements. Each calling plan option will determine whether a user can make and receive PSTN calls, or dial local, mobile or international numbers.
  • IS Calling Plans includes an SBC access licence, a local phone number and a bundle of minutes. You’ll be able to see usage reports for each user on the plan.
